नवी दिल्ली : दसरा सणापूर्वी रेल्वे कर्मचाऱ्यांसाठी एक आनंदाची बातमी आहे. केंद्र सरकारने ११.४० लाखांहून अधिक रेल्वे कर्मचाऱ्यांना ७८ दिवसांच्या वेतनाइतका बोनस देण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली बुधवारी झालेल्या केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाच्या बैठकीत 'प्रोडक्टिविटी लिंक्ड बोनस' (PLB) मंजूर करण्यात आला.
याबाबतची माहिती केंद्रीय मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव यांनी दिली. सरकारच्या या निर्णयानुसार, पात्र रेल्वे कर्मचाऱ्यांना हा बोनस मिळेल. हा बोनस कर्मचाऱ्यांचे काम आणि रेल्वेची कामगिरी यांवर आधारित आहे. या निर्णयाचा लाभ 'नॉन-गॅझेटेड' रेल्वे कर्मचाऱ्यांना होणार आहे.

सरकारच्या या मंजुरीमुळे ११,४०,७७० रेल्वे कर्मचाऱ्यांना हा बोनस मिळण्याचा मार्ग मोकळा झाला आहे. या बोनसची गणना ७८ दिवसांच्या वेतनावर आधारित केली जाईल. मात्र, प्रत्येक कर्मचाऱ्याला मिळणारी प्रत्यक्ष रक्कम ही निश्चित नियम आणि बोनसच्या विशिष्ट गणना पद्धतीनुसार ठरवली जाईल.
